Mountaineering, nordic (cross-country) skiing and snowshoeing in Gaver

Unique experiences for everyone!

Gaver is 13 km from Bagolino, on the road to Crocedomini Pass, in the Adamello Park.

The ski resort lies above 1500 metres asl and offers a chairlift and three ski lifts, with slopes for downhill skiing: the tracks run from Monte Misa (2184m) to Cornone del Blumone (2843m) and there is also a snowborder area.
A 5km cross-country skiing ring of medium difficulty and a 3km cross-country skiing ring for beginners wind through the Gaver Plain at the foot of Mount Blumone. On the same slope every year the Italian Sleddog Championship takes place.
Cross-country skis with suitable shoes and poles can be hired at the Blumonbreak, a residence-bar with sports equipment rental located right at the beginning of the slope.

Snowshoes can also be hired at Blumonbreak, perfect for families who want to go hiking safely and quietly: snowshoes can be worn directly and easily on your shoes and allow you to move around the snowpack without sinking or slipping.

Gaver is above all the favourite place for athletic mountaineering enthusiasts: a ski discipline which, by using suitable skis and sealskins, enables you to move in the mountains during snow seasons up to high altitudes. For the most reckless people there are also enchanting frozen waterfalls to climb.
